Dear Colleagues,

As proposed in 2008 during the IWIC-III in Russia, we are glad to announce that the 4th International Workshop on Ice Caves will be hosted in Austria. The village Obertraun is located in the spectacular Dachstein area and is centrally located for field trips to several ice caves, including the world famous Dachstein-Rieseneishöhle and the nearby Eisriesenwelt.
